Has played the most famous character ever created in Indian cinema, Gabbar Singh in Sholay (1975), his first major role. Acted as a villain against Amitabh Bachchan in most of his movies during late 70s and early 80s. An accident caused back problems which resulted in weight gain and ultimately early demise. Will forever be known as the Best Villain of Bollywood.
