Before Sanjay Dutt became the Bollywood's Macho Man, father Sunil Dutt was the original Macho Man, excelling in Dacoit Movies. A very underrated actor, who also excelled in family dramas of 60s with Nutan and also in comedies like Padosan. Made the debut as a director by making a one character experimental movie Yaadein starring himself in 1964.

1955 - 1992

During the shooting of Mother India (1957), saved much older Nargis' life from fire, and both fell in love and got married. Both performed at war front to entertain soldiers during china war. Later became a prominent politician and a sports minister with the Congress government.
