Started doing movies as a teenager, and then as a lead actress in b-grade action flicks opposite likes of Dara Singh. At one point, many major stars were apprehensive of working with her, but ended up doing movies with her as her stature grew and she became a leading actress of late 60s, early to mid 70s, doing superhit movies with Rajesh Khanna.
