Chori Mera Kaam

(1975)

Inspector Kumar (Pran) is a high-ranking officer in the Crime Branch. One day his elder son is kidnapped. In lieu of ransom, the kidnappers demand that Inspector Kumar withhold substantial evidence against the kidnappers. But Kumar does not comply and sacrifices his son for the sake of Law. Years later, his lost son, Bhola (Shashi Kapoor) becomes a notorious burglar and falls in love with another thief, Sharmila (Zeenat Aman).

Inspector Kumar's younger son is given the case to nab Bhola and Sharmila. How he comes to know that the culprit he is seeking is his elder brother and how he solves his dilemna forms the rest of the story.
