The story takes place during the time the Government was implementing the Aadhaar scheme and we see a bunch of officials trying to get the villagers of Jamua to enroll. Despite their best efforts, they fail until Pharsua takes the first step, thereby motivating everyone else to join the movement. However, bad omens come in the way which takes Pharsua to the city where he learns what he and his Aadhaar card are worth.
