Delhi-based Anil Mehra (Jeetendra) decides to re-locate to Bombay. He is unsure of the location of his workplace, and takes the assistance of Radhika Sharma (Sulakshana Pandit). She does assist him to find the location. They continue to meet, and are attracted to each other. Anil proposes marriage, and Radhika accepts. Then she finds out that Anil is not a bachelor, he even has a child from a previous marriage with Kamini (Reena Roy), which ended in a divorce.
