Ravindra was a devoted Justice of a state. One day he sentences a man to life imprisonment on a charge of murder, and with whose sister his own son Rakash was in love. The clash between father and Son develops to such an extent that Ravindra drives out of house Rakesh. Koushu, the mother is left with only tears and sweet memories of a sweet son. Rakesh and Rajni move to another place where certain people had revolted for independence and against the atrocities of the Subedar. Once Rakesh is arrested and given life imprisonment. His wife is pregnant and about to deliver a child. Her condition is not well. Rakesh can not bear this news and he manages to escape from the jail. Rajni dies leaving the newly born child in the hands of Rakesh. Police were after Rakesh but luck favours and the child goes in the hands of the Grandfather, without his knowing that he is the son of his own beloved son. The Child has grown up and Rakesh, his father, has joined the revolters to seek justice from the Subedar. Rakesh kills the Subedar one day and his young son Jugal stakes his own life to arrest the murderer father. Rakesh is finally arrested after he is wounded by a bullet from the gun of his own father but without knowing the identity. Rakesh is presented before the King on a charge of murder. When Ravindra sees that the culprit is none else but his own son, his heart for a moment is shaken and he begs for the life of his son from the King. But the King orders that the judgemnt of this case also will be given by Ravindra only. And the war between Duty and Feelings starts. On one side there is Justice and on anohter love of a Son-on one side Duty and on the other Feelings
