In the strong male dominated society, Vasudha(Vidya Balan) is forced by her father to marry Hari (Rajkummar Rao). When Vasudha questions her father about the reason to force her into the marriage the answer she gets is - Hamare Sanskar Mein, Shaadi Pehele Hoti Hai Pyaar Apne Aap Ho Jata Hai. After marriage, Hari suddenly disappears leaving Vasudha alone with her small 2 year old son. This is when Vasudha meets a rich millionaire Aarav Ruparel (Emraan Hashmi) - Owner of 105 World Class Hotels across the globe. On multiple meetings, Aarav discovers human side of Vasudha and realizes that he has passed through the same phase as Vasudha. This makes him fall in love with Vasudha, but our Vasudha not being strong to throw her "MangalSutra" tries to maintain distance from Aarav (Yes that silly). What happens next - Does Hari come back to Vasudha or will Aarav be able to win Vasudha's heart?
