Rosy thought that only money could bring her happiness, and she rejected Richard because he was a poor man. She started for Bombay where her sister was married to a rich man. In the train she met Shyama and Kusum who were the victims aof circumstances and had been betrayed by men who wanted Dowries which their parents could not aford All of them joined together in the condemnation of poor men and reached Bombay. Rosys brother-in-law had gone rich by liligal practices and was involved in the thedft of a very rare diamond. The girls after reaching Bombay and on their way to Rosys sisters house and met lally-a crazy millioniar fed up with riches. He instantely fell in love with Kusum. When they reached home Rosys brother-in-law and sister were being taken away by Mr. Hirala and Thomes who were after that diamond. The girls were left alone in the big flat. In order to search the diamond they made friends with the girls. The girls also took them for rich and good men and all fell into their trap. . In a restaurant they met Chandan who was a waiter but had lofty ideas. He met Shayama in disguise acting as a rich man and she fell for him immediately. Lali came to know about the illusions of these girls and in the persuit of true love, he told Kusum that he was merely a driver He was thrown out just like a bad coin. He also had advised Chandan to speak the truth to Shyama as other wise he wuld be sorry in his future life. On his advice Chandan told Shyama that he was merely a waiter and she too rejected him. Meanwhile Hiralal and Phillips in search of the diamond which was lying in one of the hand bags-carried by these three girls, were trying to trap them. . How these girls came back to their senses and found out that the real happiness did not lie in the riches but in the heart and how the diamond was found out by Chandan and given to its owner forms a hilarious climax of "MR. QARTOON M.A."
