Debuted opposite Sunny Deol in Betaab (1983) and went on to do a number of hit movies with Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor before marrying 12 yrs younger Saif Ali Khan and retiring. After divorce, now again is working in movies occasionally.
