In the Hindu Mythology there is a great significance attached to Goddess worship. In the current age of chaos, known as Kaliyug only the goddess Santoshi Maa can give relief to peoples calamity. Narad the greatest, saint noticed that Kaliyugs evil is spreading all over the earth. Every where people are agonised by robbery, rapismape and cheatings. Narad much aggrieved at this, went to Lord Vishnu and made him aware of the situation and explained to him that this rate it would ruin the world. The man will ruin man and so the humanity. Lord Vishnu replied "As long as chaos is not cured the people on the Earth would never achieve prosperity and peace". . This task was handed over to the Lord Ganesh under whose instance his daughter Godess Santoshi only could fulfill this cherished desire of the people. She only ccan relieve the people on the earth, of their calamity, and lead their life to prosperity. By her worship people would achieve peace and prosperity. The heroine of this film Gopa is a devotee and worshiper of the Godess Santoshi Maa which is not liked by Kaliyug who takes an oath to destroy her, and her devotees now there is a powerful tussle between the Goddess Santoshi Maa & the powerful and Kaliyug. In the midst of this lies the helpless Gopa.
