Asha, a rich man's daughter makes Sunita - a poor earning girl, main supporter of a family comprising of her mother and invalid sister-pose and act as Asha before her foreign returned fiancee Suresh. Asha, however, realises that the sacrifice she made for Ashok, her lover, was in vain. She meets with a tragic end. Suresh forgives Sunita.
