Love Aaj Kal

Twenty-two-year-old Zoe Chauhan (Sara Ali Khan) is averse to a serious long term relationship. She wants to have fun with no strings attached and pursue her career. But another love story from the past makes her question her own choices.

The film is an extension of the 2009 film of the same time with Veer (Kartik Aryan) and Zoe. Like the previous version, the 2020 film also was made on similar lines with to love stories one contemporary and the other old went side by side showcasing the love of two-generation eras. The story starts with Veer and Zoe meeting in a cafe owned by Raj (Randeep Hooda). Raj helps them to come closer by sharing his life real-life incidents of the nineties where he had a simple version of love. The film is all about how the stories from different eras have something in common thus defining their own version of love.
