Chehare' is a story set in the early 50's era when an aging actress from the silent era Tarana (Manisha Koirala) and her sister Amanat (Divya Dutta) are having a party to celebrate the birthday of their adopted daughter Devika. The guest includes Tarana's producer (Jackie Shroff) and his wife (Hrishita Bhatt) along with family doctor (Gulshan Grover) and Devika's friend Madan (Arya Babbar). Next day Tarana finds the dead body of Amanat after which Madan starts the investigation to find out the real cause of Amanat's death. What happens next is what the entire film is all about.
