No body knew since years as to why and where Police inspector Naresh Kumar went off suddenly after resigining his job at Bombay. Years later one day an ambitious Press-Reporter succeeds in tracking him down. One dark night she knocks at the door of an old isolated house in a remote town. Naresh Kumar who had shut himself up in the depths of loneliness is intrigued, why should Reporter be interested in the where abouts of an ex-police inspector? She discloses that actually her interest is not the Inspector himself but the famouse case of the time known as "Nisha rape & murder case" which was investigaged by him. At the mention of the case, the past flashes across Nareshs eyes. He remembers vividly every incident that had taken place. Nisha was a beautiful Cabaret dancer who had an ambition of becoming a film star. But unfrotunately She meets some unscruplous men who destroyed her life completely. She is raped brutaly and murdered. Her corpse is disclosed off, never to be found. But, a body can be eliminated, not the injured soul. So the spirit of Nisha returns to this world and thus begins her journey of revenge- a revenge of the dead against the living. During the transition from one body to another, she realise that Naresh Kumar, unknowingly has become a beacon of love for her.
