Raju, the boatman, lives in the most gorgeous and rainbowed island of Mauritius come across Preeti, a high society teenager. Both falls in love. The high society family of Preeti finds this blizing relationship a blot on their name. Preeti is put under severe circumstance by her aristocrat lawyer sister geeta and the scheming brother-in-law Prem Kumar to see that Preeti and Raju's innocent love is destroyed, but in seperation and captivity their love sprouts more and Preeti finds the way to elope with Raju. Prem Kumar, the brother-in-law, excavates the two love birds and puts them in seperate cages- Preeti, in the cage of palatial house and Raju behind the bars of jail, on a false charge of kidnapping, manipulated by Prem Kumar through his pistol-power-which makes Preeti confess against Raju, in order to save the life of her love. Raju breaks the jail, rushes to Preeti, to find that she is not to be found becase she has committed suicide. The story seems to have come to a sad end, when Raju is apprehended by Prem and charged in the court of jail breaking and making numerous attempt on the life of Prem. Gita, Preeti's sister accuses Raju and on the piont of getting a verdict against Raju, the high profile drama takes a turn. Barrister Sinha enters the fray and defends Raju by producing all the clues and keys and gives an unconceivable turn to the human drama.
