Gali Gali Chor Hai

This is the short and entertaining story of a common man and his encounters with politics and corruption in his everyday life and what it takes for him to deal with such issues. The story revolves around the everyday life of a middle class family, with Bharat (Akshay Khanna) as a banker and part-time Ramleela actor, Nisha(Shriya Sharan) his school teacher wife and his retired dad, Shiv Narayan (Satish Kaushik), in their Kanpur house. Amita (Mugdha Godse) plays a role of a Paying Guest in their house, adding a streak of glamor to their life. Parshuram (Annu Kapur) is a local hawaldar who talks in low tones but loud enough to stress the Kanpur family to their toes.
One night a small table fan is stolen from their house, a thief is nabbed and than starts the journey of court, police and manipulation until his life becomes a front page national news.
