Sunil Gupta and Yashoda Gore were close friends at the Medical college and had decided to marry and practise mainly for the poor. Sunil's father also a doctor, died leaving some debts. Sunil went to Nasik to clear off the debts and joined a nursing home run by a few specialists. Yashoda worked at a municipal hospital elsewhere. Sunil was a victim of the cook of Dr. Hira and was debarred from practising by the Medical Council but the truth was out soon and Dr. Hira got his just deserts. Sunil and Yashoda married and started their joint practice for the poor in realisation of their dream.
