The film is about a story of two wise fools Goopi & Bagha who have passion for music. Being irritated the villagers banish them. They go in search of a patron 'King of Halla' and on their journey they meet the King of Ghost who gets impressed by their music and gives them three boons which they use for betterment of people. Finally, they reach in the Kingdom of Halla, save 'King of Halla' from 'King of Shundi'. Being indebted, 'King of Halla' offers them half of his kingdom & two beautiful daughters in marriage.
