One of their relatives, a brother of a Bahu, tries to break the family by instigating the brothers to take their shares and get separated from each other. When this news reaches the mother, she calls all the sons together and gives them a lecture exhorting them to remain united. One of her dialogues in this lecture became very popular in those days.
