Mr. Natwarlal (1979)

Girdharilal (Ajit) is an honest police inspector, and lives with his wife, Seema (Indrani Mukherjee), and a younger brother, Natwar. He has been assigned the case of apprehending notorious gangster, Vikram Singh (Amjad Khan). But the wily and elusive Vikram, entraps Girdharilal, and gets him arrested, dismissed from employment, and imprisoned. Natwar is a silent spectator to his brother's victimization, and swears to avenge this humiliation. When Natwar (Amitabh Bachchan) grows up, he takes to crime for a career, and at the same time, makes attempt to locate Vikram Singh. He is successful in locating him in the hilly regions of Northern India, and he accordingly relocates there himself. Upon his arrival, he realizes that there is more to Vikram than he had bargained for, as he now has to convince suspicious villagers about himself; hoodlums who abduct people and enslave them; and a man-eating tiger.
