Whenever the mankind suffers and is at th mercy of the tyrant, the Lord takes birth to demolish the forces of the evil. People of Mathura are tired of their oppressive king, Kansa (Manhar Desai). To fight the evil Kansa, Lord Vishnu (Mahipal) takes a birth as Krishna (Sachin), and is raised by Yashoda (Rita Bhaduri). The movie mainly focuses on the early days of Lord Krishna, and his "leela".
