Gawaah

(1979)

This is the story of a family who had strange relations. Father was a ruthless killer, son was accused and grandson was the eye-withnes - Gawaah. All three generations involved in one single crime, the fact being unknown to each other. Jagannath mardered Gulshan, his unfaithful mistress. His son Shankar was accused and arrested by the Police for that murder. Jagannath's little grandson Raja who was the witness to this murder, chased him to save his father from the gallows. When Jagannath learns that little Raja knows about his crime, he wants to kill him too, for the dead tells no tales. And so, grandfather lusted for the blood of his own grand child.
