"Man Tera Tan Mera" is based on the eternal problem os struggle between the money and poverty but is also tenderly connected with the problem of love between and woman weaved in the pattern which is strange looking in its own way. . Jyoti and Deepak both are college students but their catagories are quite different. Jyoti is daughter of a millionaire but Deepak is the only son of a blind poor old woman. . Circumstances bring them close to each other and they very shortly think themselves unavidable for each other inspite of the contrast in their lives. . Meanwhile Rajan an industrialst and a millionaire, a happy-go-lucky person by nature comes across Jyoti hand to Deepak but Deepak shows his determination not to accept any thing of his wealth alongwith Jyoti, he wants Jyoti and Jyoti alone. Respect towards poverty and self-respect comes in the way and Deepak very politely refuses to marry Jyoti only because his `self would be lost in the wealth of Jyoti. . Story takes a serious turn her. Deepaks refusal rouses the hidden pride of Jyoti, she feels hurt and insulted and she readily accepts her fathers suggestio to marry Rajan. . Jyoti finds herself as bride of Rajan in hs palatial home but she also finds that she cannot full Rajans heart in the way generally expected of a bride. Deepak leaves his studies at college and accepts a job of a school teacher for his livelihood. . Jyoti had seen in Deepak sparks of a brilliant writer. Indirectly she arranges to publish the books written by him through her husbands famous publishing house. Deepak eventually becomes a popular writer and his life is completely changed. . On the day of publication of Deepaks 25th book, Deepak, Jyoti and Rajan come befor each other in a strange way. Rajan realises that Jyotis heart is with Deepak, Jyoti finds herself an unfit wife of Rajan the millionaire, and Deepak the writer finds Jyoti with a flame burning with unabatable love.
